Right.  I was wondering how it will be accepted from a HIPAA
perspective.  Depending on what's on the chip, couldn't a thug with a
RFID scanner walk through a hospital and scoop a lot of valuable
information out of thin air?

Now one would have to wonder what situation THIS would be
"appropriately"
used in.... and who controls the database, and what the retention
schedule
for the data is.
