Archives Management Specialist

Our client, a global pharmaceutical corporation, seeks an Archives
Management Specialist to coordinate records policies and procedures across
all departments.  The Archives Management Specialist ensures that records
procedures meet company needs and comply with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
*       Collaborates with domestic and international departments in support
of Document Management Practices, Record Retention and Destruction
Procedures.  Manages Internal Assessment program for Document Management
practices to ensure compliance with Corporate and Regulatory Agency
requirements.
*       Leads the process of developing and maintaining global policies and
procedures concerning document management.  Evaluates, recommends and
implements emerging records management and documentation technologies.
Develops and conducts training programs to ensure global compliance.
*       Manages inventory and archive of technical GxP documentation for the
R & D Document Center.
*       Manages multiple inter-departmental archiving projects to track
expenditures, train resources and provide weekly status reports to
management.
*       Provides project management and supervision to document center and
temporary personnel working on divesture, integration or special projects.
*       Creates course plans, develops training materials, and provides
training to users of the Global Inventory Tracking System (GIFTS).  Makes
continuous recommendations for enhancement.
*       Establishes imaging procedures to coordinate the deployment of all
document scanning.   Develops imaging and/or microfilming requirements.
*       Participates in internal compliance audits.
Qualifications:
*       Bachelors degree with minimum of eight years of hands-on records
management experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry required.
*       Demonstrates thorough knowledge of a Document Management Systems
*       Regulatory experience relevant to pharmaceutical industry strongly
desired.
*       Direct experience in working with auditors, inspectors and legal
representatives.
*       Familiarity with GXP requirements and standards.
*       Must have strong interpersonal, organizational and communication
skills and the ability to manage a dynamic customer service environment also
desired.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
