Director of Records Management


 

 

The Liberty County Records Advisory Board is currently accepting
applications for the position of Director of Records Management, within
the Liberty County Records Management Department.  The position is
responsible for the operation of a multi-jurisdictional records center.
This position works under the general supervision of the Records
Advisory Board and is responsible for administering a comprehensive
records management program for all participating groups.  

 

Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree in Library Science, Public
Administration, or a related field, with a minimum of five years of
progressive experience in records management with a government or
private agency or any equivalent combination of education, training, and
experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities
for the position.  Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and
be able to obtain a Georgia drivers license within 30 days of assuming
the position and be insurable under the county's insurance carrier.
Starting salary is negotiable based on qualification and experience.
This position offers a tremendous benefits package.  Successful
applicant must be able to meet bonding requirements.
