These resources are available from ARMA International:

Establishing Alphabetic, Numeric and Subject Filing Systems
(ANSI/ARMA 12-2005); it's available as a PDF download through the ARMA
online bookstore: www.arma.org/bookstore

Active Filing for Business Records
Author: Ann Bennick, Ed.D, CRM
Also published by ARMA International and available through the ARMA
Bookstore -- but this is a hard copy publication and not a PDF download.

Subject: paper filing systems

Anyone know of any online resources for developing effective paper
filing
systems. I found a good resource at the Univ. of Washington Records
Mgt.
website....but am looking for more info. Trying to help out some of our
departments here at Univ. of West FL develop better paper filing systems
that not only work for retrieval but make disposition by record series
much
easier.

Thanks in advance for any info!
