Oh dear. I prefer 'Disposal Schedule' because it's my job to help people
chuck stuff out as soon as possible. I've been known to call it 'Retention
and Disposal Schedule' too. NSW State Records says they are called
'Retention and Disposal Authorities', and I suppose they are right - they
'authorise' a list, but at the operational level we turn their authorised
list into a schedule.

I'm fickle. Usually I find my customers (front line business units)
respond best to 'disposal schedule'.

And I won't even comment on disposal vs disposition except to say
'disposal' is simpler, and I've never heard anyone up here in Oz use
'disposition'.

Cheers

Glenn

These views are mine alone. They may or may not be those of any
previous or present employers or clients. I don't know. If I'd asked
and they'd agreed, I would have signed it "Harry Peck and Co and
Glenn". Or whatever. But I haven't, so I didn't.
