I totally agree. I have my MLIS, and was working in the northeast as a legal researcher/law librarian. Then the Records management was added to my responsibilities.  I had an unforeseen move to the south where  I discovered that there were no positions for a legal researcher/law librarian. I had to resort to being a Records Coordinator.  If I had known how valuable the CRM was, I would have pursued this and then my MLIS.
