Director of Professional Resources and Standards Development

ARMA International, the global thought leader in records and information
management, is seeking a Director of Professional Resources and
Standards Development for its Kansas City headquarters.   Currently
celebrating its 50th year, ARMA International is a 10,000 member global
professional association with strong brand recognition within the North
American and international marketplace.   ARMA is seeing an individual
to lead the expansion of its active international standards development
program, further development of its electronic records management
content, further development and promotion of best practices in records
and information management (especially electronic records) particularly
within the financial, accounting, legal, health care and technology
arenas and serve as a resource for related standards issues, government
relations/advocacy activities, technical education and strategic
partnership initiatives.

Need demonstrated success in current assignment and strong career
advancement.  BS degree in related field (Masters a plus) and 10 years
progressive professional advancement.   In-depth electronic records
management or related interface experience a plus.  Certified Records
Manager designation preferred but not required.   Proficiency with
various standards processes can be acquired.    Requires 25% - 35%
travel (domestic and international), proficient presentation skills for
representing the association and profession worldwide and an
entrepreneurial style.   Compensation range dependent on qualifications
and experience.   Relocation to Kansas City metro required with
