Check last months edition of Maximum PC.  I think they gave the software
that the CIA or FBI uses to wipe hard disks.  www.maximumpc.com  I think

Subject: DATA Disposal

After having read about problems of data remaining on hardware
(servers,etc.)
and organizations selling the hardeware data still embedded, I have a
question in I need to get some help.  "Question:"  What tool is recommended
or required by LAW ENFORCEMENT to "wipe" data before disposal?  Any ideas
anyone..even stuff  to research would be helpful...
