Thanks to all of you who sent me off list responses today in direct
response to my dissertation length "Caveat + cautionary note" posting
this morning.  I very much appreciate your taking the time to send such
nice, thoughtful and kind responses to the story about me and my boss
at NARA.  I also appreciate the good quality of the private note I
received last night from another of your number in response to one of
my messages yesterday.

Ummm, wait a minute, I hope I haven't ruined the reputation of
Recmgmt-L by revealing in general the good and thoughtful nature of the
notes I've received, LOL.   Hmmm, thinking back on what I've seen on
the public postings, maybe I have.

Anyway, much appreciated!  Having shared so long and complex a story
with you, I've got that behind me and won't have to glaze your eyes
over that way again in the future.
