*To avoid overwriting or deletion, Beaverton officials must turn over
copies of files that refer to the possible annexation of Nike*
Saturday, July 09, 2005 HOLLY DANKS

HILLSBORO -- A Washington County judge on Friday ordered several Beaverton
officials to turn over to the court home computer files that mention Nike's
potential annexation to the city.

As part of a lawsuit, Nike attorneys asked that Circuit Judge Gayle A.
Nachtigal require Mayor Rob Drake, Chief of Staff Linda Adlard, City Council
President Betty Bode and Community Development Director Joe Grillo to
immediately turn over copies of files on their home computer hard drives so
that no electronic public records are deleted or lost intentionally or
inadvertently.
