Where are other ISO certification standards such as ISO 14001:2004 (environmental management systems) and FDIS ISO 27001:2005 (former BS 7799-2, Information security management systems - Requirements) together with its twin ISO 17799:2005 (Code of practice for information security management). In my country, the organizations seeking certification vs ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and BS 7799 are the ones most interested in ISO 15489.

Latest version of information security standard ISO 17799:2005 directly references ISO 15489. It is reasonable to expect that future versions of quality system standards will reference ISO 15489 as well.
