Jeanne,

Ice-breakers at programs: pass out jelly beans (one each). On your color coded sheet, have each person tell an RIM story based on which color jelly bean they have. Examples: pink jelly beans: first RIM job. purple jelly bean: most embarrassing moment at work. blue jelly bean: proudest accomplishment, white jelly bean: funnest chapter event attended. etc., etc.

Newsletter articles: Oral history interview long-time members, especially any involved in starting the chapter. Do on tape; transcribe. Keep all in your Chapter History file. (I have a samples set of questions we used, if you are interested.)

Congratulations and good luck!

Subject: Chapter Programs Help

Since I had so much luck with my rubberband question a couple weeks ago,
I thought I'd request help from the listserve again!
I am the program chairperson for our ARMA Chapter for the upcoming ARMA
year--our chapter turns 20 this year and I'm looking for some fun ideas
to do at our meeting/programs to incorporate "20 years". I have a "Year
in Review" that lists different events from 1985 that I'm putting in our
newsletter, (I am also the Newsletter Editor), but I'm looking for
"ice-breakers" or fun contests to do through-out the year.
I'd appreciate any ideas you may have.

Thank you in advance from Hot & Humid Wisconsin,
Jeanne
