Greetings. I was hoping to get some input from listmembers familiar with middleware products for electronic records. The university I work for is in the midst of converting to a Banner CIS system, and IT is currently evaluating how best to archive the data. These conversations, obviously, should have taken place long ago, but we are where we are. Yesterday we saw a presentation about a product from HP called the Records Information Storage System, or RISS. Has anyone had any experience with this product? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
