Registration starts Friday, August 19, for the first two classes of the
online 15-credit Records and Information Management (RIM) certificate
offered through Chippewa Valley Technical College in Eau Claire,
Wisconsin. Tuition for each 3-credit course is approximately $270.
Classes begin August 29 and October 24 and run for 16 weeks each.

The full certificate is comprised of five, 3-credit courses and is
delivered completely over the Internet. Courses cover foundational
records management life cycle topics as well as newer technology and
electronic issues. Certificate classes begin every August, October, and
January; classes run for 16 weeks each.

Some list members may recall the certificate from the heady days when
Mary Welch taught these successful classes! We've updated the material
and designed it to be even more beneficial for the records professional
wanting to advance in his/her career and needing further knowledge or
documentation.

August classes start in ten days; if the classes fill, please contact me
