I know these admin type messages are normally sent by Peter or Susan (or in
rare cases by Marc), but over the past month, there have been a lot of "me
too" type messages or responses to messages posted by individuals offering
something asking for copies sent to the List.
When an individual or member of an organization is offering a service or a
"product" and you're interested in further information or a copy, PLEASE
CONTACT THE SENDER DIRECTLY. Don't reply to the message, because that sends
it back to everyone on the List. If you want to use the "Reply" function,
first copy the sender's e-mail address, then when you compose your reply,
replace the Listserv address with the sender's address.
Sorry for sounding "testy" but I eliminated a ton of these over the past
week, and I'm trying to improve on our skills in e-mail usage... after all,
we're supposed to be leading the way in Information Management, right??
