have done quite a bit of work with SAP iro of EDMS as part of the their
MySAP rollout.
I have copied her on this e-mail and I would suggest that you send her
your contact details direct or contact her at the PetroSA offices in
cape Town.
I would also be interested to hear how they have progressed.

Good morning to you all,

My company is planning to use sap as the sole EDMS platform to replace
all the stand alone softwares that are being used.I need  to find out
from anybody whose company is using SAP as EDMS whether it provided the
functionalties consistent with other proven EDMS packasges. Is SAP
capable of providing comprehensive EDMS solutions?Is it interoperable or
compatible with other packages like Mobius,Bently Projectwise,MS
Shairpoint, Filenet Records Manager add ons, for example.Or what other
softwares are compatible with SAP to enhance and develop it into a fully
fledged EDMS/ERMS solution for the company.
