Dirty Nellie's is an Irish Pub that reminds me of those found on the Green
Isle. Stout is the brew of choice although other types of beer and drinks
are available for those can't handle the Irish stuff. Peanuts are plentiful
and provided free of charge.

San Antonio's weather during late October should be mild and not too humid,
so I'd recommend outside seating if at all possible. Both Dick's and Dirty
Nellie's have a fenced enclosure so partygoers don't fall into the river if
they have had too much. In my high school and college days I watched a few
poor inebriated souls fall into the SA River. The river itself is not very
deep (two to four feet) but the water and muck on the bottom can be a little
nasty.
