I did put a tiny amount extra in for retrievals, I forget the formula I
used but it assumed that most of our offsite boxes are almost just about
never retrieved. I don't have any numbers at hand on a retrieval frequency
rate per box stored, but if it's too high we are doing it wrong!

What I included, in case anyone wants to do their own sums, is:

Purchase cost of new archive box
One barcode label
10 mins or so staff time to pack, list and handle
Transport to storage company
Add box to storage company system
Store for 7 years
Destroy
and a bit extra for very occasional retrivals, admin overheads for
invoicing, arranging and approving destruction etc etc
