 About Us 

LCRA plays a variety of roles in Central Texas: delivering electricity,
managing the water supply and environment of the lower Colorado River
basin, developing water and wastewater utilities, providing public
recreation areas, and supporting community and economic development. 

 

Essential Functions 

This individual will manage, coordinate, and direct the activities of
the Records and Information Management Services department (RIMS).  RIMS
currently includes records analysis, records compliance, central files
and corporate archives. This person will also oversee the development,
implementation and maintenance of all aspects of a comprehensive and
progressive records and information management program designed to
improve business performance while meeting statutory and regulatory
requirements and develop policies and procedures for managing all
recorded information, from creation to final disposition.  Other duties
will include preparing long range strategic goals for enterprise wide
records and information management program compliance and interfacing
with LCRA-wide Technology and support teams for the planning,
installation and support of automated records management related
solutions.  Other duties as required. 

 

Minimum Requirements 

Bachelors degree in Business, Records/Information Management, or related
degree, or related field (equivalent experience may substitute for
degree) plus five to seven years experience with technology or
information management experience including resource and strategic
planning. Certified Records Manager (CRM) preferred.  Candidate should
have knowledge of records and information management related standards
and theory; corporate archives and archives management; information
database management concepts and methods; project management and
business process re-engineering principles. Candidate should possess
strong leadership, planning and organizational skills; ability to
develop and effectively communicate processes and advocate
organizational change; ability to lead and motivate people; ability to
anticipate and analyze problems, plan and develop alternatives and
effect innovative solutions. 

 

Salary Range 

PM 30:  $5,450 - $8,170/Monthly
