Bill said "and came away concerned about our "radar screen" and
future actions regarding our international program."
Bill, I was at that meeting and was a little concerned myself, although I
don't know if your concerns are the same as mine. My concerns have to
deal with the cost in having an international program. If ARMA is going
to call itself an international organization then to what extent do you
spend when that portion of the membership may account for a small
percentage of total ARMA members. It is my understanding, and correct me
if I'm wrong, is that most ARMA members are from North America. Isn't
that why the conference is in this part of the world?
If ARMA can justify international costs in increased memberships or
interest, then let's go down that road. Otherwise, it may be a poor use
of ARMA funds and best served for the North American climate.
