SENIOR RECORDS MANAGER - Washington, DC - We are currently recruiting
for two Senior Level Records Management positions in the DC area.  These
positions are one year contract positions and offer a very generous

The Records Manager will provide records management subject matter
expertise while performing system engineering activities on electronic
archiving related programs throughout the program lifecycle. Such
activities include developing requirements and ensuring that
requirements are understood and accurately reflected throughout program
lifecycle products such as design documentation, implementation and test
cases.
Background and experience must include:
Knowledge of contemporary archival and records management principles and
practices Extensive knowledge of Federal records management laws and
NARA regulations, including familiarity with Federal records retention
schedule definition and management guidelines Demonstrated knowledge of
records lifecycle processes, including supporting information system
design Experience with business process definition and automation tools
and techniques Excellent research, writing and critical analytical
skills, especially as applied to complex records management issues
Desirable background and experience includes:
Experience in assessing, scheduling and management of Federal records
Familiarity with a wide range of electronic and non-electronic records
formats, meta-data standards and initiatives, and finding aid
development and use Practical experience with one or more electronic
records management commercial products
