That was a funny posting; made me chuckle. I sent a private reply to
Paul. Hopefully it will help the candidates relax going into the
testing.

I should be working on a presentation right now; but I just cannot get
into it this morning.

Maarja, bless your heart! If you are ever out here in the Reno area
you are cordially invited to go out into the desert with me. We'll take
my Jeep; traverse the old freight trail from Reno to Virginia City and
up into the mountains (including going past Robber's Roost); see some
wild horses; we could even find a low arroyo abutting a canyon and set
up some targets and do some shooting, if you like. Perhaps find some
hard drives that need to be destroyed. I'll tour you around historic
Virginia City; then we can go down to Carson City and find some good
BBQ. Did this trip with Alan Andolsen CRM, CRM a couple of years ago
while he was here, and had a good time. It was in December and there
was a lot of snow on the ground; made the trip more interesting.

(Hmmm, "riposte"; is that to tear out a fence post? To shoot holes in
an old fence post with a high caliber weapon? Take photos of an old,
decrepit fence post? Maarja finished the 6th grade and thus her use of
the word probably means a quick reply to a question or remark to a
previous posting.)

Best regards, Steve

<snip> And the case he described was hilarious--very clever on his
part. I also laughed out loud at Al's followup posting. Can't wait to
see what Steve may say in the way of riposte!! (Yep, I once took
fencing lessons -- ages ago -- while in college. Unlike Steve, I've
never handled a gun however, I'm an East Coast city girl, through and
through--born in NYC, grew up in the DC area. <snip>
