Yes you can, unfortunately most users don't know that the change has
occurred until they try to post and their posting gets bounced back
just as Paul's did. Rarely does IT announce the change to individuals.
most folks are lurkers and rarely post. They continue receiving
messages as described by PatC, but when they try to post well that is
a different animal.


you can have as many subscriptions to the listserv that you want. I
know many folks who have multiple accounts.
