Dear Colleagues,

In recent weeks there has been a degree of activity on this list regarding
the management of emails in respect to the title - Will we keep email (and
everything else) forever one day? - and others. In searching the list
archives there are 528 matches regarding emails going back to March 2000.

I appear to have a differing view on emails so I have gone to the keyboard
with my thoughts for good or evil!

One article I wrote back in January 2005 but it never was published by the
party I wrote it for as the project did not proceed. The second Evil e-mails
I wrote on the train yesterday prompted by the recent activity on this list
and other places.

The two articles on e-mail are on my website @

e-mail, THE ENEMY! And - You are not going to tell me that e-mails are
records are you?

Enjoy!
