Dear Colleagues & Bonnie Gawf,
Please take care if you go down the Access path. Access is cheap as it is a
part of the Microsoft Suite of product and comes free or near free as part
of the Office Suite.
The only limitation with Access is as Chris Flynn states it gets bogged down
with volume.
The other issue with Access is its requirement for ongoing support.
If you have 28 hours available every day for support then go for Access,
otherwise you could do better in looking at a product like DB/TextWorks.
DB/TextWorks will cost you $'s and it does not have, or did not have full
RIM functionality. It is robust, flexible and reliable.
DB/TextWorks is worth evaluating.
