While this isn't a normal venue used to drum up participants for SDC
Projects, we have a number of projects that are looking for Task Force
Members to participate in the development of Standards, Guidelines and other
publications.
While it isn't a requirement that you be a member of ARMA, it is desired.
These projects typically last about a year from start to finish, and the
involvement level is a few hours a month on average. All participation is by
conference call (ARMA supplies a toll-free number) and e-mail or use of a
YAHOO Group. Task Forces must be consensus based, so we're looking for
participants from a range of industries and levels of experience.... you can
be involved as a writer, contributor, reviewer or editor.
Please take a look at this page and see what projects are available.

Some of these are presently in process, so they are closed to new members,
but here are a few that are open and still accepting members:
Developing Digital Format Information and Records Management Methodology
Business Process Analysis Guideline
Collaborative Environment RIM Issues Guideline
Controlled Vocabulary in Records and Information
External Review Task Force

*Your participation would be greatly appreciated. Please take a look at the
web page, and if interested, submit an application to join a Task Force!
