City of Waco Water Department used to store all their records in the same
room with the bags of powdered chlorine. Bugs were definitely not a
problem. Unfortunately, a moon suit was needed when the records were
inventoried/destroyed.

I enjoyed free "finger food" at the dedication of our new ozonization
water treatment plant. For those who may wonder - ozonization treats
the water with ozone to eliminate microbial contaminants rather than
using liquid chlorine. Once the new plant is fully on-line we will no
longer store liquid chlorine at our water treatment facility for the
first time in almost 100 years.
