The position purpose includes the following: Manage implementation of Records Management policy and procedures and the Policy on Preservation of Documents - Claims and Litigation Matters. Provide guidance and assistance to Records Retention Leads, Litigation Paralegal, Coordinator- Archive/Records Center, and other personnel as needed. The work may break down as follows:
40% manage implementation of Records Management policy and procedures and provide guidance and assistance to Records Retention Leads on implementation of the policy and procedures. Coordinate with Litigation Paralegal to implement the Policy on Preservation of Documents - Claims and Litigation Matters.
20% develop and administer training program for staff and user departments to ensure standardization of systems and their effective use
10% coordinate with Business Process & Technology group to ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures
10% coordinate with Corporate Audit group to ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures
10% supervise and coordinate work flow of records staff
10% assist Law Department as needed
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Prefer Bachelors Degree (or equivalent), with specialized course work in records and administrative management and computer technology or three (3) years experience in a records environment, including active record systems, retention schedule management and/or vital records program maintenance. Should have an understanding of automated systems and applications, and working knowledge of active records systems, retention schedule management.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES
Certification of Records Management (CRM) desired.
