As a person still relatively new to the profession, I have to observe -
they require a Master's and prefer a CRM, and the max starting salary is
$32,500? That is unconscionable.

Although $32,500 is low for the work expected, a little of the sting is
removed when you look at cost of living comparisons. The below link
provides an approximate salary comparison between states and cities.

http://www.homefair.com/homefair/calc/salcalc.html

That being said, even with the differential in buying power the salary
listed is below the median income for Jefferson City (listed as
$39,628).

Attention recipients: All e-mails are captured by the City's server and
are retained for two years. They could be included as part of a public
records request

I pay my clerical people more than that.
