  A northern California county contacted me asking for recommendations on RIM consultants. They are looking for someone who can do a records management feasibility study --review and assess the county’s RIM program for compliance with applicable laws, etc.-- to determine the future direction and needs of the county in a final report -- including potential risks and liabilities, best practices, recommendations, etc.
   
  They prefer a consultant with proven experience in public records, preferably at the county level.
