SaiTech Inc. is a NASA Sub-Contractor on the NASA Shared Services Center at
Stennis Space Center in South West Mississippi. We are aggressively
searching for 2 Document Imaging Specialist (Job descriptions attached
below) to assist in the development of this amazing project.

POSITION:                Technical Support Group (TSG) Lead: (IT Support
Specialist 3)

POSITION:                NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC) Stennis Space
Center (SSC) MS

DEPARTMENT:        Records Management

 

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Plan, implement, and support information management infrastructure and
processes for efficient and effective records management.  Facilitate and
contribute during technical meetings addressing issues such as data model
design to support multiple lines of business in a shared services center,
records identification, scheduling, and life-cycle management.  Support
business processes automation effort for lines of service, as well as
document imaging and records management service delivery.

 

Provides senior level IT expertise including NSSC internal systems,
integration of external interfaces, application systems maintenance,
infrastructure planning and management, website design and operations, IT
security monitoring and execution.  Maintains files and records, and
generates reports.  Resolves issues and problems.  Develops disaster
recovery plan and procedures, and supports disaster recovery activities.
Supports business case analysis in IT services.  Provides guidance and
consultation to junior IT Support Specialists and IT Support Assistants.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, and 8 years of
relevant experience.

Must be able to demonstrate mastery of:

 

*       Document imaging and data capture principles and practice

*       Production scanning process improvement

*       Electronic Content Management (ECM) system integration

 

Certified Document Imaging Architect (CDIA) and Certified Records Manager
(CRM) desired

Preference for individuals with NASA records and Documentum Records Manager
experience 

 

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND TASKS PERFORMED:

*       Collect, document, and obtain stake-holder buy-in for system
requirements.*

*       Map records lifecycle from creation to archival or destruction.*

*       Design a DoD 5015 certified electronic records management
repository.*

*       Document default record types and appropriate schedules.*

*       Facilitate Business Process Reengineering (BPR) efforts.*

*       Meet all schedule milestones.*

*       Identify, isolate, and resolve issues with document imaging and
records management processes.*

*       Continually improve document imaging and records management
processes.*

*       Identify, collect, and report system, process, and employee
performance metrics.*

*       Interface with corporate management, contract management,
stakeholders, and customers.*

*       Manage, mentor, coach, direct, train, and supervise assigned
personnel.*

 

 

 

POSITION:                ECM/Imaging Specialist: (IT Support Specialist 1)

DEPARTMENT:        Records Management

REPORTS TO:           Manager/Supervisor

 

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Contribute to defining an overall information management architecture.
Participate in the creation of a comprehensive data model to support
multiple lines of business in a shared services infrastructure.  Support
records management and business process automation efforts for lines of
service.

 

Provides IT expertise in NSSC IT Management Services area, including NSSC
internal systems, integration of external interfaces, application systems
maintenance, website operations, IT security monitoring.  Maintains files
and records, and generates reports.  Resolves issues and problems.  Supports
disaster recovery activities.  Provides guidance and consultation to IT
Support Assistants.  

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

*       Interface with corporate management, contract management,
stakeholders, clients, and customers.
