Dear Colleagues,

In its recent Electronic Evidence Update 1-18-06 brought to you by Digital
Discovery & e-Evidence by Pike & Fischer they advertise an Audio Conference
titled E-Discovery Secrets: How to Build a Process for Success and the
advertisement states the following:

Most electronic discovery programs focus on the thorny legal issues raised
by requests for production of electronically stored information. However,
the process is the most expensive component of the project, and holds the
pitfalls that can derail your project. This program provides practical
strategies to organize the process for actually locating, extracting, and
presenting the data most efficiently.

My query:

Is this not what we [as RIM partitioners] do prior to the event, or am I
missing some thing here?

The cost to sign up for this online Conference titled E-Discovery Secrets:
How to Build a Process is only $279 to register one location with unlimited
listeners. Not a big deal in $ terms.

The implication of the offer is that organisations need legal help [and I
assume at very big legal dollars] to advise us RIM practitioners that the
process is the most expensive component of the project, and holds the
pitfalls that can derail your project.

As an RIM practitioner with an ERDMS system in place would you be able to
minimise the most expensive component of the project?

I know [everyone keeps telling me] nobody, has an ERDMS in place as it is
TOO EXPENSIVE!

Maybe management will WAKE UP to the real world and their actual
responsibility in this important NO, CRITICAL area RIM.

Spend $279 USD of your hard earned RIM budget and get your executive
registered for the Audio Conference titled E-Discovery Secrets: How to Build
a Process for Success!

Maybe you can wangle a new ERDMS system out of the end results!

Regards, Laurie
