I think you are missing a critical element. Business Continuity Plans
for RM would prioritize record series. If you had to move them quickly
you would decide which ones to move and which ones not to move. Vital
records are backed up (presumably) but instead of moving them all, I
decide which ones I am abandoning. I really only have a plan to save
records I need so it is not an all or nothing proposition.

Let em burn. My vital records are digitized and off-site. The key is to
figure out a priority. I put my records nearing destruction on the
bottom of the priority list.

Subject: Moving records boxes

In designing our business continuity plan, the question came up....if we
had to move all of the boxes in our records center quickly to another
location, how many trucks would that require? So my question for the
list is this: has anyone ever figured out approximately how many
standard records boxes would fit in a semi/tractor trailer-sized moving
truck?

Thanks in advance for any help...
