It would be useful look at records management as an ongoing business
need--not an issue.  You may want to start building your records
management program before you get into the particulars of imaging, etc.
We can give you plenty of paper-to-digital statistics based on personal
experience, but your money will probably be better spent starting with a
records management consultant.

Subject: [RM] Per page estimate on converting paper to digital

The organization I work for is starting to look at the issue of records
management. I've been asked to find out if there is any kind of general
industry guideline on the cost/page to go from paper to digital. I
understand that it will vary upon vendor, volume, etc.--just looking for
a ballpark estimate.
