Many thanks for the thoughts, Robin. Innisfail is not far north of my
home town of Ingham, so I've been following the news fairly closely on
it. There's a good chance of floods following the cyclone and affecting
an even wider area. And there's another cyclone sitting in the sea as
well.

I've forwarded this email to the Records Management Association of
Australia listserve as well.

Hello--

Just wanted to send out some positive thoughts to any list members who
were affected by Cyclone Larry. Just last Friday I attended an RM
seminar that included a discussion of lessons learned from Hurricane
Katrina. After looking at the slides and hearing the speaker's
experiences, I have a glimmer of what is going on right now in northeast
Australia.

Our news is reporting injuries, but no fatalities. With all the
devastation, that is the best news we could hope to hear.
