Not sure I follow. Educating people in the hopes of raising standards
is misconceived, and more people doing a good job is not necessarily a
good thing? I got the part about agendas, everybody on the list has
one, but a clarification on your education point would be helpful.
Thanks.

Andy,

You need to take into account that Hugh always has an agenda.

Many people have their own take on that agenda; but it is an agenda all
the same.

If you run a storage company and take pride in your work; or if you are
a company who uses a quality storage company you will probably not be
able to even conceive of the contempt with which some operators treat
their customers and the damage they do to the industry as a whole.

Hugh's approach has always been to educate people in a hope that
standards might rise.

Personally I think this is a misconceived objective. If everyone did a
good job it would just make it harder for the people already doing a
good job to make a living.

There will always be hopeless, one size fits all operators in the
market; you can choose to use them or you can look for something better.

Gerard
