Our contracts belong to the Office of Business Affairs. The Accounting
and Purchasing services group scans them into the document management
system and is the "custodian" of the contracts since they need to refer
to them each time they make a payment. They have a database where they
track the amendments and ending dates so they can manage retention of
the actual documents.
