Doug:

Thanks for asking - I was pondering the same question on my way home this
evening, but had not made it to the computer to ask.

Bruce:

Thanks for the quick answer. If you consider the fact that there are just over
700 "Active" CRMs out there (not sure how may "Retired" CRMs vote) the
percentage may, in effect, be higher.

Are there any non-voting ARMA members on the list (not part of the "Choir")
willing to share reasons for not voting either publicly or off-line?

Now I'm pondering the general percentage of shareholders in corporations that do
not vote their proxies. Anyone in the securities/financial industry out there
with any statistics? Could be an interesting comparison.

Have a good evening all:

Tod Chernikoff, CRM

Almost 400 votes were cast during last year's election, if I remember
correctly. Close to 50% of the membership voted; the best turnout in years.
We had a couple of board positions with more than one candidate running,
which I believe was a major factor for the high number of ballots returned.
Hopefully, this trend will continue.

By the way, we are seeking candidates for our upcoming board election in the
July/August timeframe. If you are a CRM and interested in running, please
contact the Election Chair, Juanita Skillman, CRM, FAI. She can provide all
the information you need, including positions available and any necessary
forms.
