The week+ of warnings and 13 hour (I was lucky) evacs are sheer torture. Give me a tornado where at max you have 15 minutes warning any day. Besides I'm native to FTW. I've been in 3 tornados in my life.
I guess it is what you are used to, eh?

Why the heck do you want to return to Ft. Worth? Have you forgotten
about the tornado that tore up downtown Ft. Worth several years ago or
the one that struck near-by Cleburne before then? They both struck
without warning--Houston, at least has warnings about hurricanes.
