Roland asked where is the <Records Manager position on the organizational
chart?>

Perhaps a different scenario than some. I work in local government. We are
fairly high on the org chart. We are directly under the Regional Clerk (who
is just below the CEO and Regional Chair (top of the chain)). She also
oversees the IT department. Because of this it makes our communications
with IT and life are a bit easier. The Clerk is very supportive of RM
programs and has been of great assistance in facilitating our working
together.
