Are there any Texas based Local/State Government Agencies that are
actually destroying the hard copy documents after imaging and keeping
the image/electronic record as the official record?
If possible I would like answers to the following questions:
1. Did you draft a policy to accommodate for this or was it purely
procedural?
2. Are you using TSLAC's guidelines for imaging/source document
destruction, etc..
3. Are you destroying the source document immediately after imaging? Do
you have a compliance procedure to ensure QC and QA?
4. What have your experiences been with the corporate culture upon
implementation of your program? Did you find a lot of source document
copies, etc.. In people's drawers?
5. How are you accommodating for annotations? Workflow? Etc...
I'd appreciate any information you have to share on this topic. I would
like responses form Texas centric areas only but if you are out of state
and have some input I'm not going to delete your reply. Thanks.
Steve
