We keep meticulous logs of all our litigation matters. Trust me, this is a
good practice and worth the effort.

As for the records manager being responsible for the hold process - sure,
why not? I own our hold process. I even draft the hold notices and craft the
distributions. BUT I work in the legal team, I report directly to our
litigation and compliance counsel, and I have an excellent relationship with
our technology (IT) management so I have a foundation in place. And our
organization is relatively small - although we manage and own a large &
diverse portfolio.

Rock on!
