Subject: [RM] RFP - scope and services question

I have been charged, under rather short notice, with
developing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for an
off-site records storage program for a small
university in Georgia. The institution currently
houses their records in dreadful basements, attics,
storage rooms, etc., and has now decided they require
more physical and intellectual control over them. I
have a few days to write the scope and services notes
to be provided within the contract. As such, I
searched through the archives of the listserv for
RFP-related materials. This is my first attempt at
writing a segment of such a large contract, especially
in concerns to the myriad categories that need to be
encompassed into the agreement.

I was wondering if any RM would be willing to share,
on or off the list, part of the language under the
“Scope and Services” section of a successful RFP?

Thanks in advance,
Ann Bordas
