<One of my primary tasks on the project is to establish the appropriate
e-record series retentions and see that the appropriate archive and
purge rules are in place in SAP for the retentions to be applied and the
subsequent purge documented.>

Ginny, I'm really interested in your SAP conversion process and am
wondering if you are modeling your e-record series to your paper records
series. Are you willing to share your approach?

My particular interest is, if I am in the process of developing series
and file plan classifications for e-records, should I use existing
classifications traditionally (and/or previously) used for paper, or
should I start over and create new classifications that better jive with
the way my folks work in the e-world? I'm inclined toward the latter,
and then making any necessary adjustments to how we handle any
corresponding paper.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance!
Julie
