Lackluster?  Hardly...not if you know the central California coast! (I
grew up in the San Joaquin Valley).  One of the loveliest areas
anywhere.  The question is:  could one afford a place to live there?!?
I just might be willing to pitch a tent and live in it for this job.

**Job Opening - Records Administrator

 Pebble Beach Company, located in Pebble Beach, California, is the
parent company of The Lodge at Pebble Beach, The Inn at Spanish Bay,
Casa Palmero, The Spa at Pebble Beach, Pebble Beach Golf Links, The
Links at Spanish Bay, Spyglass Hill Golf Course and Del Monte Golf
Course.

Job Functions:**

*       Research, design, develop, and implement operational program to
bring all departments within the Company into compliance with records
management standards and procedures for both hard copy documents and
electronic records.

*       Work cooperatively with designated department contacts
throughout
the Company to educate them about the requirements of the records
management program, train employees in records management standards and
procedures, develop efficient methods of compliance, and ensure actual
compliance.

*       Inventory existing Company records in all formats, including
without
limitation paper and electronic records.  Keep inventory, including
type, content, and location of records, current.

*       Relocate records as appropriate to facilitate evaluation,
protection, future ease of reference, and/or planned destruction.

*       Ensure that all Company records are retained or destroyed in
strict
compliance with records management plan.  Advise appropriate departments
of any litigation holds as necessary.

*       Conduct periodic research to ensure the Company's records
management
plan is in compliance with the law.  Review and revise records retention
schedule based on any changes in state and federal law and related
regulations.  Alert Staff Attorney to any new legal developments.

*       Consult with users and IS staff on automated records management
applications and recommend appropriate software.

*       Manage preparation of responses to subpoenas and other
legitimate
document requests.

*       Manage application of document management policies and
procedures to
emails and other electronic documents.

*       Maintain off-site file storage system; ensure all documents are
logged and tracked to facilitate ease of reference, efficient access,
and ability to easily determine whether documents are to be retained or
destroyed in accordance with records management plan schedule.

*       Maintain file retention docket.

*       Maintain, update, and refine the filing system so as to be able
to
quickly locate any file and/or provide status of file and contents on a
timely basis.

*       Receive, organize, and prioritize Legal department documents for
scanning, data entry, filing, and production.

*       Accurately record terms of all Company agreements into database,
create and maintain accurate and effective filing system for electronic
and non-electronic records, assist in locating files as necessary, run
reports and form letters from the database as requested, maintain and
distribute docket report.

*       Docket vendor renewal notices.

*       Communicate orally and in writing with attorneys, consultants,
local
and state contractors and officials, and others as directed.

*       Comply with all Pebble Beach Company safety and health policies
and
procedures.
