Feel free to browse the functional records disposal authorities issued by the National Archives of Australia at http://www.naa.gov.au/recordkeeping/disposal/authorities/RDA.html and http://www.naa.gov.au/recordkeeping/disposal/authorities/GDA/AFDA/summary.html

Partially responsible for some of them, but I still speak for me, not my employer

Documenting destruction of electronic records - a little long)

Lorinda,

I am an MLIS student at Louisiana State University. I am working on a
project to create a fictional records management program here (we don't have
one). One of my tasks is to create a function-based retention schedule.

I was wondering what the possibility is of me getting a hold of your
retention schedules? I promise to only use them for reference purposes and
to not share them with anyone besides my advisor, Dr. Elizabeth H. Dow, who
is supervising this project.

Russell D. James, M.A.
