You certainly have an Enterprise system.

Your comments have made me go back through my logs and look at some past
projects.

The one project that I found was a "semi-structured" form recognition
effort, where 300 had significantly better results than 200. The vendor said
that was their experience across multiple sites.  This does not refute your
OCR observation; OCR is a significant part of locating the fields with those
tools.

What have you seen with forms recognition?

It is possible that technology has lessened the need for higher density
images.  It is something I will want to test when the opportunity presents
itself.
