I actually earned my bachelor's degree in Records and Info Mgt from a private business college in Detroit (Detroit College of Business) which is not part of Davenport College. But it does not appear they offer that program any longer. I don't get it!

Is there such as thing as a university/college granting a degree vs. a
certificate for records management?
I only know of certificate/certification programs for records management
as opposed to degree granting institutions. The PLC program at University
of Toronto (which is an excellent program) is a certificate as opposed to
a degree.
In addition to some of the others mentioned (sorry if this is a repeat)
Mohawk College (Hamilton, Ontario) also offers a certificate via their
distance/on-line learning program. Here's their description:
