Hi all, and with apologies for cross-posting,

FYI. Many of you probably think of eWeek (formerly PCWeek) as a "techie"
magazine - and that's true to some extent. But much of the magazine today
focuses on the impact of technology on business and organizations.

It's a free print subcription and I highly recommend it, as well as many of
their newsletters. This one, for example, focuses on storage, but two of the
articles are pretty relevant, dealing with discovery of tape and email
respectively.

Regards,

3. Opinion: The e-Discovery of Tape

The clock is ticking on a set of rules for supplying digital documents for
court cases. However, a storage vendor has an appliance that can grab
records off of tape archives, index them and let lawyers search for evidence
of misdeeds.
