RECORDS AND INFORMATION ANALYST - (Transportation & Works)

CORPORATE SERVICES DEPARTMENT
OFFICE OF THE REGIONAL CLERK
Temporary Full-Time, $25.77 - $28.01 per hour

POSITION PURPOSE
Reporting to the Records Manager, Office of the Regional Clerk, this
position is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of
manual and automated Records and Information Systems.  Also responsible
for auditing the record management operation and recommending
enhancements, analyzing statistical information, providing technical
guidance to staff and participating in special projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

*         Diploma in Records and Information Management combined with a
minimum of five years experience in information management in a
corporate records capacity.

*         Class G driver's license in good standing and a reliable
vehicle for use on corporate business.

*         Knowledge of and demonstrated ability in information analysis
and hard copy systems design, including image technologies, in both
manual and automated systems.

*         Knowledge of government guidelines and legislation and
accepted technical, industry and professional standards.

*         Knowledge of and demonstrated ability in corporate core
competencies including customer service, communication, teamwork,
initiative/self management and accountability and
flexibility/adaptability.    

*         Computer literate in Microsoft Office desktop applications,
records and information systems and imaging software.

*         Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when
dealing with confidential information.

*         Ability to work outside regular business hours as required.
